More than 200 people attended the event, which included speakers, discussion sessions, and a local foods lunch. The symposium served to build awareness of the food systems research and scholarship underway at UVM; recognize emerging opportunities for transdisciplinary food systems research and outreach; and identify specific research needs that should be addressed by internal planning grants.

In-spire-ational!
Today’s symposium was a great reminder of all the important work being done at UVM and in the Vermont ag community AND the potential to grow that work and its impact exponentially by working collaboratively.
Kudos to Vern Grubinger and Kate Turcotte for making the symposium happen!
