Food and Place in Vermont

The Agency of Agriculture held a special event Jan. 10 to highlight recent work on Food and Place in Vermont.

Agency of Agriculture staff and contractors and researchers from the University of Vermont presented recommendations for protecting and promoting place-based foods in Vermont. These recommendations were developed through producer working sessions, market analysis, evaluation of the Seal of Quality, and researching Vermont’s food story.

The event included four presentations:

- Cultural Heritage
- Taste of Place Market Research
- Taste of Place Working Sessions
- Seal of Quality
