National Household Travel Survey Vermont

by fconte on August 23, 2010

Our primary objectives for this project are to produce a report on the “State of Travel in Vermont”, to update the statewide travel-demand model, and to add new components to the 2010 Vermont Transportation Energy Report, using the Vermont Add-On to the 2009 National Household Travel Survey (NHTS). We intend to use this data set to compile a general report on travel in the state of Vermont, with breakdowns of travel times, distances, purposes, and modes by household demographic and location in the state. In addition, as the party responsible for maintaining and updating the statewide travel-demand model, the TRC intends to conduct basic updates to the model (as outlined in the 2007 M.O.U.) with new information from the 2009 NHTS Add-On Data for Vermont.
