Through this planning project UVM scientists will collaborate with Egyptian researchers to assess current practices used to control thrips and whiteflies by vegetable growers in both countries and develop ways to use habitat plants and other environmentally sound approaches to encourage populations of natural enemies in and near the crops through habitat manipulation.
