This project is designed to evaluate and enhance the willingness and readiness of dairy producers, allied industry, and community responders to implement strict biosecurity protocols in the event of a highly contagious animal disease emergency such as foot-and-mouth disease.

UVM Partners: Community Development & Applied Economics (CDAE) & UVM Extension

Community Partners: Stakeholder advisors include farmers, agri-business personnel, planners, & state agency personnel.

Project Timing: March 1, 2010 – June 30, 2013
